Do I need to be a member of the club to hold myreception
at Gettysvue Polo, Golf & Country Club?
No, you do not need to be a member of the country club to host
a private function, however, members of the club can use banquet
rooms without any room rental fees.
What does the room rental fee include?
The room rental fee includes tables, chairs, china, linens,
glassware and all other basic equipment need to host your
reception. It also includes use of our dance floor.
How long can my reception be?
All wedding packages include a four hour time period, not
including set up or tear down. Additional time can be purchased.
Can I bring in my own wedding cake?
Yes, wedding and grooms cakes may be brought into the
club, along with any edibles intended to used as favors.
All other food and beverage, including alcohol, must be
provided by the country club.
Are there any fees to cut and serve my wedding cake?
No, Gettysvue Polo, Golf & Country Club will serve
your wedding cake without any plating fees.

What type of menu options do I have?
Your menu options are almost limitless. Gettysvue Polo, Golf
& Country Club offers sit down dinners, dinner buffets and
heavy hors d'oeuvre buffets on our printed menus. Our professional
staff is available to assist you with creating your own package
or selecting one of ours.
Besides the room rental fee and the cost of the food,
what other fees will I have?
All food and beverages charges are subject to a 20% service
charge and state sales tax.
What do I need to do to reserve my date?
A catering confirmation agreement needs to be signed and
a deposit placed. First deposits may vary in amount, but
generally are between $500-$1000.
Will there be any additional money due before my wedding?
Yes, there is a second deposit (of varying amounts) due
approximately 6 months before the wedding. Final payment
is due 7 days before the wedding.
When do I have to turn in my final number of guests?
A final guarantee is due 7 days before the wedding.
Once that number is submitted, your number of guests
may increase, but may not decrease.
Can I hold my wedding ceremony at Gettysvue Polo,
Golf & Country Club?
Yes, some wedding ceremonies can be held at Gettysvue.
